not complete
*
Tracks:  Rock & Roll,  Sick again,  Over the Hills & far away,  In my Time of Dying,  The Song remains the same, Rain Song, Kashmir, No Quarter, Trampled Underfoot, Moby Dick

The same gentleman who blessed us with the incomplete recording from the 17th at this venue was also on hand to capture the band on this night.  The taper was actually interviewed a couple of years back by the excellent (but now sadly out of print) fanzine Proximity.  He is mentioned as having used a portable, Norwegian-made, Tandberg mono reel-to-reel recorder and an external mike, which he simply situated on top of a  nearby stack of unused folding chairs and left recording while he returned to his seat.  What is most fascinating is that he was located on the second concourse of the venue, at a considerable distance from the stage.   Normally, being at such a distance would kill any hopes for a successful recording, but our friend had a bit of luck on his side.   Because he didn’t have to hold the mike, there is none of the typical handling noise or sound phasing present.  Additionally, as the mike was located away from any nearby audience members, the only audience noise picked up is the distant, between-song roar from the massive audience on the floor below.  (Thanks to undergrounduprising and Mike Magnon)

What The Thunder Said  [Gardener Remaster]

Date: 21ter März 1975, 10te USA Tour
Venue: Seattle Center Coliseum, Seattle, Washington, USA
Label: Fan Release [Gardener Remaster], 4 CD-R
Sound: Excellent Audience Recording
LINEAGE :

From the second half of "Stairway To Heaven" to the end : Audience Alt. Source Low Gen > DAT > CDR > FLAC > Remaster > FLAC

Disc 2:  No Quarter, Since I've Been Loving You, Trampled Underfoot, Moby Dick
Disc 3:  Dazed And Confused
Disc 4:  Stairway To Heaven,  Whole Lotta Love,  Black Dog,  Communication Breakdown,  Heartbreaker
GARDENER NOTES :
I got the original sources to create this recording from Presence's server long ago. While the sound quality was already pretty good, still the recording was slightly muddy, lacked dynamics and had almost no high ends (in fact, I think the CDs were truely sourced from the raw masters without any real mastering in the first place). Plus, Jimmy's guitar pretty overpowered everything and Robert's voice was far in the background most of the time. Now, after some cleaning, boosting, EQing, a lot of other little things, everything can be clearly heard and I'd rate this one EX, except for the very end of the show which is a VG. I also re-did the editing by removing the passages that were there twice (Plant's speech at the end of "Kashmir" for example) and merged the two sources so that the transition during "Stairway To Heaven" is as unnoticeable as possible, so that for the first time you can listen to the complete show as if it was the same recording running from the beginning to the end. Now, concerning the show : Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest band in Rock History. The 1975 American tour was one of Led Zeppelin's best tour. This show is one of the best shows from the 1975 American tour, it includes the second longest "Dazed And Confused" ever and it was one of the very few shows of the 1975 tour were they played "Since I've Been Loving You". Need I say more ? ENJOY!
