some say this is the best Release -  I don´t think so
it has very much bottom end but it is far from complete
and not so clear sound as Sanctuary Release
Disc 1:  Immigrant Song, Heartbreaker, Dazed & Confused, Bring it on Home, That´s the Way, Bron-Y-Aur, Since I´ve been loving you, Organ Solo / Thank You
Disc 2:  What is & what should never be, Moby Dick, Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown, Out on the Tiles, Blueberry Hill

this is an Video DVD (not an AUDIO-DVD) with AUDIO in Linear PCM wich is equal to SACD format. Added is a slideshow with Photos from that area.
some say the Genuine Masters releases are the best. however they sound great and the added stills are real eye-candy. another big plus is that you have the whole show on one disc.

waikiki.jpg - 6,42 K
Date: 6. September 1970, sechste US Tour
Venue: International Center, Honulu, Hawai, USA
Label: Hawaiian Boogie Recordings #none
Sound : M -Aud 8
excellent Concert - a MUST HAVE :-)
excellent Sound - I don´t know which CD R. Goodwin heared
Track List: Immigrant Song, Dazed & Confused, Heartbreaker, Since I´ve been loving you, What is & what should never be, Moby Dick, Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown
Anspieltip Whole Lotta Love ! Wie schreibt Luis Rey so schön " the Whole Lotta Love Medley includes some incredibly effective rock riffing" da hat er recht und ich kann dem nichts mehr hinzufügen. Wahrlich ich sage Euch datt muss mer han datt Teil :-)

No License, No Festival*

nolnof7.jpg - 6,77 K

Date: 9ter September 1970, sechste US Tour
Venue: Boston Garden, Boston
Label: Silver Rarities #SIRA 164 / 165, 2 CD
Sound : M -Aud 4
ganz gute Audience Aufnahme (könnte besser sein)
*
Track List: Immigrant Song, Black Dog, Dazed & Confused, Bring it on Home, That´s the Way, Bron-Y-Aur, Since I´ve been loving you, Organ Solo / Thank You, What is & what should never be, Moby Dick, Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown

American Woman*

awoman.jpg - 4,46 K

Date: 19. September, 6te US Tour
Venue: Madison Square Garden, New York, USA
Label: TDOLZ 18/19, 2 CD
Sound: M -Aud 5
gerade noch gut hörbare Audience Aufnahme, Mono
Afternoon Show
Track List: Immigrant Song, Heartbreaker, Dazed & Confused, Bring it on Home, That´s the Way, Bron-Y-Aur, Since I´ve been loving you, Thank You, What is and what should never be, Moby Dick, Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown ( incl. American Woman )

One More For The Road 2005 Edition

A Presence Production in association with DarthDisc presents:
Led Zeppelin, MSG, NY, New York, September 19, 1970, Evening Show
"One More For The Road: 2005 Edition"
Audience Recording
Cassette > Open reel > SoundForge > CD > ProTools > FLAC
Presence on this Edition: Earlier this year (2004) the taper and I discussed doing a new transfer of his open reel source. While that did not come to pass, we subsequently learned that the discs used for the initial release were at least two CD generations away from the shelf masters and that during these generations is when the index boundary errors and other clicks were introduced. While I managed to do a pretty good job cleaning those up for my initial "Presence version" it was difficult to do and left several repair artifacts that could just not be cleaned up. After that release Eddie Edwards pointed out that the pitch needed correction, thus "Born To Please" came about.
The shelf master discs are largely free and clear from the clicks and pops found before. There were about three sector boundary errors, but these were generated by splitting tracks in SoundForge and thus are easily restored. For this release I also used parametric equalizing to lower the 250Hz frequency, the hollow reverb of the auditorium, ever so slightly, just enough to allow the other instruments to come through. I then applied a pitch correction of +1.5%, but not to the entire source. Some sections of the tape were at the correct pitch, but most was not. I also cleaned up the source a bit by trying to remove some of the crackle. All in all, it turned out very nice and I hope everyone enjoys it as it is arguably one of the best shows Led Zeppelin ever turned out.
