Notes:
There are 2 open circulating audience sources for this legendary show: a 137 minutes source 1 (as released under the title "Enjoy Zep", lineage: 1st gen > DATx > CDRx, which some of you might know already) and a 109 minutes source 2. This particular release uses source 2, the slightly better sounding but less complete source, as its foundation and fills the gaps with what's available from source 1. On the other hand, DAC for instance is complete on this source where it has a cut on source 1.
Source 1 has been used for BIOH, WS/BMS and SIBLY which are missing from source 2. About 7-8 minutes from source 1 are used at the end of CB as well as a few splices here and there. The taper(s) of source 1 were stoned out of their minds, witness the ""mumble, mumble, ...stoned", the "Cathy, you stoned?" comments at the end of WS / BMS and the beginning of SIBLY and their stoned banter during the last couple of minutes after the show had ended as well as Cathy giggling all over source 1. Lots of mic handling noises. Source 2 has much less disturbances of this kind.
The splices and fills have been quite nicely done, I've been told this release has been put together by Eddie Edwards, nuff said!. Presented here are 146 minutes of vintage early live Zep.

Konzert : Alles in allem eins der besten Bootlegs von 1970 was sowohl Konzert als auch die Aufnahme betrifft.
Eine der besten Aufnahmen von Bring it on Home. Killer Harmonica von Plant viel intensiever als üblich.
Absolut empfehlenswertes Teil ! |
